Since getting my bike, I’ve been all over the place. It really gives you a different perspective on the city. I also had a chance to snap some photos of these.

Mini wire sculptures have been seen floating around Honolulu. First discovered them while stuck in traffic on Nimitz Highway. I loved that it took my mind off the frustration of being stuck in my car.
I’ve been on the look out for more. This one was spotted across the street from Kaiser Hospital on Pensalcola Street.

Being in my car, there was never an opportunity to take a photo. Now on my bike, I’ll be on the look out and posting where you can find them.
Traveling to the mainland, I always make it a point to stop by my favorite store, Anthropologie. Not only do they have unique products but their visual display blow me away.

That’s why I was so excited to find Wary Meyers Decorative Arts website. The hubby (John Meyers), in this husband and wife team, used to be the Corporate Display Director for Anthropologie.

His imagination is crazy genius! Take a look at the image above…it’s a sculpture of plastic straws that imitate frost. Anyway, the site shows off their individual art as well as a collaboration of interiors that they do (and more Anthropologie pix).

Love the cool pet portraits. If you can’t afford some of their pieces, keep your eyes open at Urban Outfitters. Their products are sometimes sold there.

Louis Vuitton Superflat Monogram-Takahashi Murakami
Cool video. Need to view it again with a couple of cocktails. Not a huge fan of the LV hype (although I do appreciate the craftsmanship) but am a bigger fan of Murakami.

This is cool wallpaper that is used in the cafeteria at the Chicago Museum of Modern Art.

Wish I would have snapped a photo of the entire cafeteria to show how dynamic it looked…next time.
It’s A Small World Album
This makes me happy. I love Disneyland but really love the artwork by Mary Blair. I’m always on the look out for her stuff. This was a Goodwill find for $1!
Charley Harper Prints
I did a little summer cleaning and came across some Charley Harper posters I had purchased. I was introduced to his artwork a few years ago and fell in love.
His prints go for a premium so if you’re on a budget but still would like to adorn your walls with his art, check out this link here. You can order posters that were commissioned for the National Parks. They range from $15-$30. Check out the site regularly because they do replenish their stock.

Got lucky with the camera last week capturing some lightning flashes.
Scored a Soul Clap shirt from Eskae. Congrats on the 4 years and keep the fire!
