Haven’t looked inside this magazine yet, but by just seeing the cover, I’m hopeful. They used Charley Harper’s Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park poster.  I’ve been searching high and low for this one.  Out of print, it has to be for sale somewhere…

I had come across this ad a few years ago and stashed it away.  As I was doing some filing, I rediscovered it again.  Love the fact that “Free Beer by Primo” was a way to get customers.

As I did a little more research, I came across these photos by Ian Lind that documented the events.  A feminist group picketed the event in the mall.

Cool to see what Kahala Mall used to look like in the 70’s.  I wonder if the protester’s picketed the Naked Waiter at the Dunes?   More to come on that….
