When I saw this photo, I thought it was another feature on living in small spaces. It looked like an apartment I would like to live in.

Until I read the article and realized it was a prison in Austria (can you see the barbed wire fence off the balcony now?).

Thought the visiting room looked like a modern office.Great article from the New York Times, Austria has a different approach in dealing with their prisoners.  It’s not just a place for white collar crimes but all types of criminals.
