Farewell Summer, Hello Fall...kind of....
Someone told me that September 22 is the official beginning of the autumnal equinox. We are officially in Fall, although living in Hawai’i is kind of like summer every day.
Okay, I just think this photo is funny. My beach lip balm is about the same size as my apple banana. It’s my tribute pix to summer.

I am a handbag fiend and can’t get enough. I’ve stated before that it’s a problem. A few years ago I gave up leather handbags. Let me clarify…I still buy them if it’s from a vintage or thrift store.
My reason is two-fold. First, ecologically, the amount of energy and waste it produces to make leather goods is amazing. Secondly, our society is so disposable....

Mid-Century Airport Building
I pass this building whenever I need to ship something via Aloha Air Cargo. I finally decided to stop by and take a closer look and snap a few photos.
I love the muted color palette and 3 dimensional pieces.
